Summary:
Warning: Advanced players only! This is not a faction for new players!
Stranded groups of colonists that over time gave up all hope of being rescued and started their own empires. It is not known how many of these groups exist, and it is difficult to track the allegiances of even the ones that are known about. Some join factions upon being discovered, while others insist on remaining independent. Former members of a faction who have been dissowned are grouped into this designation as well, as both are regarded as Outcasts in the eyes of the "more civilized" factions.

A bright and motivated people, the Empyrean Commonwealth is a collaborative effort of entrepreneurs and corporations, that believe in economic development as a way to improve everyone's lives, regardless of social status. Indeed, they have proven themselves to be brilliant capitalists, always finding new and exciting ways to earn credits.
However, corruption is far from dead in the commonwealth. Their hedonistic culture is often accused of forgetting about humanitarian initiatives, favoring the unfettered growth of their hungry corporate machine. |

Faith is both a blessing and a curse, its seems to bring out both the best and worst of human nature. The Unitology has developed into a Theocracy in the name of the ‘Almighty Creator Unitos’. Whilst this is often a peaceful and just society there are factions and sects within the Theocracy that call for crusades against unbelievers and the forceful conversion of the heathens of the universe.
Much like human nature the faith of this faction can be twisted to suit the desires of the sects in control and the change from a peaceful, charitable faction into fanatical and utterly fearless crusade is both astounding and frightening.

Curiosity has fuelled the development of society, questioning the nature of the world around them comes naturally to the Association, a faction where intelligence is highly prized and the noble sciences and research are the most prestigious of occupations.
The shadier side of the faction, the brutal rule of the uneducated masses by the gifted view, is hidden behind the veneer of a prosperous and advanced faction. Whilst the technocracy at the heart of the faction cannot be applauded for their application of human rights the scientific community and research capabilities of the elite is the most envied in the known universe.

There are few governments in the history of man that compare to the fierce libertarianism that defines the Pan-Terran Alliance, a society that , through centuries of isolationism and internal reform, has become the beacon of freedom that it shines as today.
Their detractors call them disorganized, idealistic and naive. Others see them as paranoid, backward, and dangerous. However, regardless of criticism, the ferocity with which they defend their freedoms and way of life is effective and ruthless. |
